A day in the park

Ohio has had beautiful weather this week. Does my soul good. Perfect time to pull out the baseball gloves, my favorite.

Picked up a new leather journal too. Another one of my favorite things :) I go through one every 2 yrs or so. There's nothing like reading the Word of God and then sketching in my journal! Those two books go hand in hand for me... On airplanes, trains, beaches, grassy patches. Love it! The best part is flipping back to what was happening one or two years ago... And seeing how far I've come. Maybe you should pick up a journal too :)

Happy thursday!

Sunday's coming!

God is super good and definitely ushering His church into a new season of hunger, passion and drive to step it up. I have a feeling people's expectations for themselves are growing to a new level. It's so fun to be a part of His Kingdom! Never gets old.

I love this weekend. Yesterday was "good Friday"... the day to remember Jesus' death. HE took death, shame, punishment, sin, hell upon Himself so that YOU DON'T HAVE TO! Don't pay for what He already charged to Himself!! Receive salvation and God's Holy Spirit as a free gift! But remember... after you receive it... it will cost you everything. Daily. But it's so so good.

And don't forget... Sunday's coming!! The day Jesus stepped out of the grave, alive! Whoo!

A lot has happened this week. And I'm excited to tell you that we have extended our trip in the states until July after which we will make our move directly to South Asia (no Sweden in between) ... but Samuel will still be heading to Scandinavia as originally planned in May - for 2 weeks. He has to renew his visa and pack our bags for the move! There is just too much happening in the spirit here... and we want to be a part of it all, overflowing!

If you have a chance to see us, we will be preaching at Victory Christian Center - Columbiana Campus  on April 29th at 10:30am and then in the evening at New Life - Poland at 6pm. Would love to meet you there if you're in the States!

Today I plan on making some Indian food for our family's Easter dinner tomorrow... gotta bring some culture to the table!

1 month in usa

Hello friends. Today marks one month in the United States. We are slowly feeling refreshed and definitely loving this season. My home church has spoiled us with a wonderful guest house and missionary mini van! I have been soaking up springtime sunbeams in the grass, shopping in all my greately missed stores, sipping on soy lattes, and spending lots of time with my little brother and his gorgeous baby girl.
Plus... We have been preparing, brainstorming and dreaming about our move to South Asia in just 3 months. I am so excited!!
Last week we had the incredible opportunity to attend a conference in Dallas, Texas with Pastor Thomas, John Kilpatrick, Dutch Sheets, Andre Vanzyl, Jan Painter, John and Ann Bosman, Cindy Jacobs, Robert Stern... And so many other powerful men and women of God! It was definitely a "how did I get here" moment... But Holy Spirit spoke to my heart in incredible ways and the weighty presence of God refreshed my soul. I feel more anxious than ever and it's in only good ways!
Today is lovely and warm. Samuel and I spent the morning at the dentist with my aunt Illa, then shopped, and now Im blogging in the WINDY sunshine while sipping cold green tea...

We do not have wifi where we are staying, so I am not spending much time online... Sorry for being so silent for so long!

Next sunday

We are loving Youngstown. Loving our family and friends, cafes, driving, church and the american way of life! I have not had the chance to get much internet lately... Sorry for not updating you!

Next Sunday morning, March 18, we will be set up with a table in the lobby of Victory Christian Center between 8am and sometime after 1pm! Come see us and hear a little of what God is doing and planning among the unreached! Look forward to seeing you there!

Almost there!

Our alarm went off at 2:50am last night... another day of globe trotting for us. This time from Sweden to USA via a few countries in between. Now we are sitting in Toronto, Canada watching the grey rain/snow fall from the sky outside and the flights on the screen above our heads change from "on time" to "delayed" or "cancelled". So as we are enjoying free wifi (love when airports do that!) I'm asking Jesus to get us to Pittsburgh airport tonight! It's been a long day! Really longing to see my little brother in a few hours :) I love him!! Mom and dad are in Hawaii now but we will see them April/May when they visit Ohio too! Guess it's time for a family reunion and I don't mind at all :)

Write back from USA soon!
