Moments

We have made a pit-stop here in Goa at the ocean. After one month of non-stop travel by planes, trains, buses, taxis, rickshaws, and foot.... Covering 8 cities each holding [[millions]] of people... We were beat! Feels good to take a breather and process a bit before diving into another new state.

But we havn't exactly been relaxing here either... Kayaking, body surfing, motorcycling, exploring, scorpions, monkeys, bulls with big horns stampeeding down the beach full of sunbathers(THAT is very entertaining!) And all in over 100 degree weather!

Motorcycling through the jungle... Yes, Im driving. No, they did not give us helmets... But we didnt go too fast..

I was sick our first two days here but we did manage to share an enchalada together for Thanksgiving.. Sitting on our bed under a mosquito net. I've been away from the states and my family for a lot of years now during the holidays. Even when traditions cant be practiced and youre in another brand new place, I'm learning more and more to cherish moments. Moments hold more value than glitz does.... Moments with God, with friends, with strangers, in villages, in alleys, on beaches, in crowds, totally alone, under mosquito nets. Thanks God for the moments of life.
