Our latest trip to Ethiopia

We had an intense autumn/winter of ministering in Asia and Africa. God is up to great things in Until the job is done. We recently held a Gospel Campaign in the Himalayas and gathered 14,000 totally unreached people to hear the great news of Jesus! One week later I took my 6th month old baby girl to Ethiopia where we met up with Samuel (who flew in from India) for a conference with a church we planted there a few years ago... they were planting a new daughter church!

Here are some photos from Ethiopia!

This was the sight of our small team parading through the streets. That flimsy stroller with those bare white thighs peaking out drew some major crowds. Everyone wanted to hold Leona... and they did, they'd take her right out of my arms...

Lauren and Joey found some homemade dumbbells. Genius I tell you.

Leona and I visiting my first African disciple who got saved 4 years ago!

A few days into our trip that flimsy stroller was stolen by our minibus driver. It's a workout carrying your 6 month old everywhere you go... and there are no floors to put her down on!

Sweet girl with the biggest eyes you ever did see... running around while her mama chewed the Ethiopian drug called Kat.

Multitasking mama... Africans know how to get the job done.

My great aunt Darlene decided to join us in Ethiopia for her 60th birthday! She was an incredible encouragement to us all, a prayer warrior and comedian! We were so blessed!

Many people think we're crazy for bringing our baby girl to a 3rd world country the way we do. She was super! We are so proud of Leona and see so much strength in her already! Our call to go to the unreached is a family call and we are honored that God sends us to the places no one else wants to go. One night as Samuel was preaching, rocks began showering down on the church's tin roof from the locals who didn't want the Gospel of Jesus in their village... instead of shrinking back in fear though, the Christians who were gathered became determined to share His message like never before. God is on the move in the Horn of Africa!
