Denmark

Samuel's taking me to Denmark on Saturday! To celebrate our 2nd anniversary :) I've never been to Denmark but I'm so excited to add it to my list! We're taking the ferry! And staying overnight! I can't stop writing without exclamation marks!!

I started a higher Swedish (for Immigrants) class yesterday. It's challenging. (I found out on Friday that after only one week in school, they were moving me up... eekk!) My teacher talks for over 3 solid hours in pure/fast/deep Swedish. At about 2 and a half hours into the session I realized that I understood the gist of it all... so even though my brain aches... I get it. I'm listening to solid Swedish for 20 hours every week -- plus all the other Swedish conversations I have with family and friends and all the daily stuff that happens while running errands. That 'ought to make me fluent fast. I hope. After Swedish, it's on to Hindi!
